Lovely hostel, would happily stay there again

Wonderfully kind warm lovely helpful staff, who went above and beyond and even baked a homemade cake for us! It felt super welcoming and was a real pleasure staying there

The room was very small and didn’t have a window. Not a problem but the price was very high for what it was, probably due to it being National Holiday

Well located, comfortable & clean rooms with exceptional hospitality

The rooms were cute and cosy. I was not lacking in anything really. The beds were v v v comfy. The rooms were windowless but it also meant you could get it pitch black for great sleep. I enjoyed the use of the tea room (with a fridge) and the luggage storage room. I had such a good stay here. The ladies running the place were so kind and welcoming. They were very helpful in giving suggestions for places to go and eat and the best way to navigate around. Appreciated they made themselves available via LINE even after reception hours. Would come back and stay here the next time I’m in Tainan.

Staff very friendly, caring & helpful, offered us their home-made dried longan

Location good, near to eatery street, basement with free beverages & air- conditioned where friends or relatives visiting can meet to chit-chat.

Great location. Simple, clean and convenient

The staff was very helpful (even if they speak little English). The location is very convenient to explore the old city. Plenty of little cafes and street food places around. The room was very clean, with towels changed every day.

It was not clearly advertised on booking that our room did not have any window (which seems to be the case of most of the hotel’s rooms). And it was a bit noisy (from neighbours and the street).

The staff was really, really accommodating, going out of...

The staff was really, really accommodating, going out of their way to make our stay really comfortable. The hotel is new, very clean, and simple. Great value for the cost.

The hot water took a long time to kick in, but was nice and hot once it started running. No fault of the hotel here - old buildings in Taiwan are often like that, just give it time.

Amazing stay!

No complaints about this hotel - the staff were amazing and always very helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the location perfect for exploring the city.

Not so much a complaint about the property but the address in local language on booking.com is not fully in mandarin so be wary of this when trying to get a taxi.

Quirky hotel in a good location - staff are very kind and helpful!

The hotel is very quirky and cute - the rooms are nice and bright, and the beds are really comfy. Bathroom is good (as is typical in Tainan, there is no hand soap, however, so bring your own if you want/need some), pretty clean. Location is great - lots of authentic restaurants and cafes nearby - and near the Tainan Main Station, as well as Chihkan Tower, Hiyashi Department Store, and museums/galleries. Staff are amazing - the woman at the desk very kindly helped us out multiple times regarding nearby restaurants, tourist attractions etc.

Only very minor issues - the place is a little hard to find as the address Booking.com provides in Mandarin (ie when you click to show the address in the local language) is not the full address.

Nicest staff and great location!

The staff was incredibly nice and helpful. We had problems with our car and Judy helped us until we were good to go again. Thank you so much!!! The location is great! The room was stylish and nice. We recommend staying here :)

The room was rather small and had no window so the air was a little bit stiff.

What was the highlight of King Wow Inn

Excellent location, friendly and helpful staff

It is located very near to Chihkan Tower and small eateries. The room is equipped with a good hair dryer, big mirror in the washroom and the shampoo and body foam used is from Melaleuca. Sleeping light is provided. There is a comfortable pantry at the basement with water dispenser and a long dining table. All the staff including the housekeeper are very friendly and helpful.

Room is a bit too small. We booked a triple room and got 1 single bed and 1 double decker bed. They provide normal tissue paper for washroom use which is too thin.

- Staff is very helpful. Even if some staff can't speak English very well, they willing to help. - The hotel locate near by Yong Le market and many restaurants. - The room is clean up everyday.

just in case you travel with elder or heavy luggage, request the hotel to get a room on the first or second floor because the hotel have no lift.
